Julie Scott

President, CEO & Founder - CTS Impact
Julie Scott is the President, CEO and founder of CTS Impact, a hands-on business consulting firm focused on Finance, HR, Supply Chain and IT issues.  Along with the CTS Impact team, she advises Fortune 1000 clients on a wide array of complex issues including business & systems integration, corporate compliance, mergers & acquisitions, IPO-readiness and organizational change.   CTS Impact is a WBE-certified Women's Business Enterprise.
 
Prior to founding CTS Impact, Julie served as Director of Professional Services for Parson Group, ranked as the Inc. 500 #1 Fastest Growing Private Company during her 5-year tenure. Previously, Julie served as the Corporate Controller for Crate & Barrel, as well as SEC reporting and investor relations at Montgomery Ward. She began her career as an Auditor with Grant Thornton.
 
In tandem with her commitment to her family, clients and staff, Julie is deeply committed to making a social impact in her own community and beyond. She is involved in a wide array of charitable organizations both in partnership with CTS Impact and independently.
 
As a dedicated parent of a recent SICP alum (Christopher—Class of 2014), Julie is a member of the St. Ignatius College Prep Board of Trustees where she is Chair of the Finance Committee.  In addition, Julie is Immediate Past Board President and on the Executive Committee of the University of Illinois College of Business Alumni Association.  With a passion for equal access to high-quality affordable education, Julie and her husband Tom established a scholarship program at the University of Illinois, as well at St. Ignatius College Prep through their family foundation.
 
In addition, Julie serves as Director Emeritus for the YWCA of Chicago, whose mission is the empowerment of women and elimination of racism, where she has served on the Executive Committee as Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee.  Julie also currently serves on the Audit Committee of the United Way.  During its formation, Julie served for Arzu Inc., a nonprofit social business enterprise, established to educate and train Afghan women for sustainable poverty alleviation and empowerment. 
 
Julie is also a member of The Chicago Network, where she is Chair of the Entrepreneurs Committee, the Economic Club of Chicago, Executives Club and the Chicago Finance Exchange.
Julie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois College of Business at Urbana-Champaign, cum laude. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Illinois CPA Society.   Julie resides in the Lakeview neighborhood with her family, although she maintains her ‘south-side’ roots as a devoted White Sox fan.
